I’m a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
I love all aspects of making films and telling original stories. This passion for the whole process of making films has led me to be proficient in many forms of filmmaking. It started by dragging my younger brothers around with my camera so we could make Academy Award level films. Unfortunately all that footage is lost. But this led me to get my degree in film from UC Santa Cruz. From there, back to my hometown of Los Angeles to study comedy at Second City. Then, standup comedy for three years, scouring through the open mic scene. Suddenly and clearly: a realization that I wanted to be making movies, not just telling jokes. So I became a short form documentary filmmaker. A challenging personal experience lead me to dig deeper and I understood that I had to escape to New York City for the proper inspiration. Then a pendemic happened --- the world could literally end at any minute, no more wasting time. I stepped wholly into my passions: writing & filmmaking. A book of short stories, a Vimeo Staff Pick, a first narrative short, a film festival.
And on and on we go, always connected to telling stories. The Academy Awards part will come eventually.
